The following items are released to the media and public for free in commemoration of
May Day 2017.

As part of this celebration, we are marking the event by issuing a special e-book edition of the classic W.E.B. Du Bois volume The Souls of Black Folk featuring a specially designed cover that places as the center of the celebration the life and work of May Day founder Lucy Eldine Gonzalez Parsons. As an Afro-Indian Latinx woman, she was involved in the creation of a host of organizations and efforts that continue to shape our society today, from the Industrial Workers of the World to the ACLU.
